TREX ARMS offset canted red dot mount is similar to the Arisaka offset red dot mount, and it's mostly optimized for NVG height when wearing the goggle.

The mount tucks in closer inward to minimize the lateral profile of the rifle setup and it offers different mounting plates for Trijicon RMR, SRO, Holosun 507C and Deltapoint Pro at a standard 1.57" base height.

If not using a NVG, the shooter has to get down really low to acquire the sight.

Valhalla Tactical RUKH - Best Adjustable Angle

canted red dot

The Valhalla Tactical RUKH is the world's first adjustable pitch and offset red dot height mount. People who have tried it love it for:

  • Works for lefties and righties
  • Battery access from the bottom without sight removal
  • Faster transition speed
  • Pivot to your preference
  • Align bore axis and POA (Point of Aim)
  • Works for cross eye dominant shooters if used at the right angle

The user can choose to snugly position an offset optic near the scope, swing it outward, or change direction as required for the best setup.

The most impressive aspect is the capacity to modify the angle to match the rifle's bore. It is strongly suggested for rifles with a high bore axis, such as the MCX, SCAR, X95 Tavor, HK416... and with this mount, you can eliminate the common offset aiming issue.

What's Considered A Good Offset Red Dot Mount

Optic Height and Bore Alignment

Keep Constant Offset Red dot

Your bore alignment or cheek weld height may not be the best depending on the firearm platform you possess and the offset optic you have.

If there is a slight offset between the canted sight and the bore, it will result in poor accuracy and zero before introducing rifle tilt.

We strongly suggest experimenting with the Valhalla Tactical RUKH adjustable pitch offset mount mentioned earlier.

Zero Retention

The mounts we listed above work great for attaching to picatinny rail systems. Just make sure to apply the right amount of force and position them correctly, and you're good to go!
