Selecting an good RMR mount has a lot to do with measuring bore-axis offset and of course good return-to-zero reliability. Whether you are mounting a primary optic to a PCC or an offset backup to a long-range rifle, the mechanical interface between the RMR footprint and your rail is the most common point of failure.
This guide shows the top RMR-footprint mounts (which also fit the Holosun 507C and 407C) based on weight-to-strength ratios and recoil lug engagement.
Quick Selection Based On Weight & Style
| Mount Model | Style | Weight | Key Advantage |
| Scalarworks LEAP/04 | Skeletonized QD | 1.62 oz | Best Strength-to-Weight / RTZ |
| Unity FAST RMR | High-Rise / Offset | 2.1 oz | Faster Heads-Up Passive Aiming |
| Reptilia ROF-45 | Ring-Mount Offset | Lightest | Integrated with LPVO Mount |
| LaRue LT827 | Heavy-Duty QD | 3.2 oz | Best Locking Lever Security |
RMR Footprint Mounts [Include Offset]
Why Use This Product
The Scalarworks is the way to go for a low drag skeletonized RMR optic mount. Their impressive strength to weight ratio and super precision return to zero performance make their mounts one of the best on the market.
The skeletonized design is just a great look on any rifles and PCC.
A low profile recessed thumbwheel deflects external impacts, while letting you take the mount off in under 3 seconds, with or without glove
Weighs ONLY 1.62 oz, saves almost 50% weight compared to others

Reptilia Adapter Mount - Works With Geissele
Referenced Solider Systems
The ROF-45 (Riser Mount Offset) replaces the top half of a Geissele or Reptilia scope ring, allowing you to mount an RMR at a 45-degree angle to your primary glass.
- Unlike Picatinny-mounted offsets, the ROF-45 keeps the RMR closer to the scope's centerline. This reduces the "bore-offset" (the distance between the barrel and the dot), making your 5-to-15 yard shots much more predictable without having to calculate a massive hold-over.
- By integrating into the scope mount itself, you eliminate one extra point of failure (the Picatinny clamp), making the entire system much more rigid under heavy recoil.

The FAST MRDS is a departure from Unity’s older, fixed-footprint mounts. Instead of being locked into a single optic, this mount acts as a "hub" for the FAST Modular Accessory Suite, allowing you to swap footprints as your gear evolves.
- The FST-MRDB uses Optic Adapter Plates (sold separately) to support almost every major micro red dot on the market. This means you can switch from an RMR to an Aimpoint ACRO or Holosun K-series without buying a completely new $150 mount.
- Like the rest of the FAST line, it maintains a 2.26” optical centerline. This "Heads-Up" posture is essential for shooters using night vision (NVGs) or those who find a traditional cheek-weld uncomfortable while wearing plate carriers or gas masks.
Field note: The FAST MRDS (FST-MRDB) is just the base; users must buy a plate to make it work.
When mounting the RMR plate to the FST-MRDB base, ensure you use the Unity-provided plate screws. Using the standard screws that came with your Trijicon may be too long for the adapter plate, preventing a flush fit and potentially stripping the threads.
| Optic Model | Required Unity Plate | Footprint Type |
| Trijicon RMR / SRO | FAST RMR Plate | RMR Standard |
| Holosun 407C / 507C / 508T | FAST RMR Plate | RMR Standard |
| Holosun 509T | FAST 509T Plate | Holosun 509T |
| Aimpoint ACRO (P1/P2) | FAST ACRO Plate | ACRO Standard |
| Leupold DeltaPoint Pro | FAST DPP Plate | DeltaPoint Pro |
| Holosun K-Series (407k/507k) | FAST RMSc/K Plate | Shield RMSc |

Referenced LaRue
LaRue Tactical's QD lever mount is the best QD mount on the market. They're fast for mount and demount without any tools in the field. It's rock solid, tight fitting and holds zero with the help of rail recoil lug to prevent shift between rail slots.
Mount this on a riser mount or on an offset picatinny rail for many different shooting applications. They offer different heights to fit your need.
Most popular ones are:
LT827 (lower 1/3 forward lean)
American Defense
Similar to LaRue Tactical style QD lever mount. They offer different mount heights and also super lightweight models with cuts to reduce weight.

The RUKH is a very niche offset mount that solves the "cross-eye dominance" and "bore alignment" issues typical of 45-degree mounts.
- It is the only mount on the market that allows you to adjust the pitch and angle. Most offset mounts are fixed at 45 degrees, which can be awkward on rifles with high bore axes like the SIG MCX or IWI Tavor.
- You can pivot the RUKH so the RMR sits perfectly vertical when you cant the rifle, eliminating the "diagonal" dot movement that confuses many shooters during rapid fire.
