TL:DR
Modlite PL350 VS Streamlight TLR 1 HL, PL350 is way more versatile with its ability to change light heads, and it can pretty much work as a rifle light on a pistol.
The TLR 1 HL is extremely affordable and its great for any home defense and close to mid range applications.

Modlite PL350 VS Streamlight TLR 1 HL
From a user's point of view, the Streamlight TLR 1 HL stands out as the most cost-effective pistol light. It provides 1000 candela with a well-balanced beam, suitable for most low-light situations.
On the other hand, the Modlite PL350 features interchangeable light heads, including the OKW, PLH5K, and PLHv2. These popular light heads offer varied lighting capabilities.
My tests show that the PLHv2 has the superior range for long-distance lighting. The PLH5K closely resembles the PLHv1 light head.
However, the OKW light head, designed for rifles, is somewhat too focused for pistol use.
