Modlite PL350 VS Surefire X300 Turbo
The Modlite PL350 and Surefire X300 Turbo are both pistol-mounted weapon lights.
From a user's point of view, the Surefire X300 Turbo stands out as the best pistol light.
It provides 1000 lumens with up to 66000 candela output for long range illumination.
One of the major difference between these two lights are the fact that the X300 Turbo is a one piece design, and the MODLITE PL350 can accept various light heads, including the OKW, PLH5K, and PLHv2.
The popular light heads provide different lighting options. The PLHv2, as my tests reveal, excels in long-distance lighting with its superior range.
PLH 5K
OKW
The PLH5K closely matches the PLHv1 light head in design. However, the OKW light head, intended for rifles, proves too focused for pistols.

Beam Pattern Comparisons
When comparing the Surefire X300 Turbo and MODLITE PL350 side by side, the MODLITE PL350 with the PLHv2 performs the very similar as the Surefire X300 Turbo.
Both has insane throw capability and spill beam pattern for close up illumination, and the tight focus beam is helpful in areas with shadows and long distance targets.
Mounting
When it comes to the mount, the Surefire X300 Turbo has a higher quality mount than the MODLITE PL350. Even though the MODLITE PL350 has a pretty streamlined body, it does required tools to remove.
The Surefire X300 Turbo is using the same light body as the X300 Ultra, and it can be easily detached with a coin or a shell casing.
Any existing Surefire X300 Ultra holster will still work with the Surefire X300 Turbo.
