Docter/Noblex Footprint

The Docter/Noblex footprint was one of the most common mounting patterns in the early days of slide-mounted pistol optics. It features two screw holes and four recessed sockets for recoil lugs.
While many optics that originally used the Docter footprint have since been discontinued or redesigned for newer, more universal footprints, a few red dot sights still use it and remain popular today.
- Burris – FastFire series red dot sights
- Vortex – Viper, Venom
- Primary Arms – SLx RS-10
